Local Organizations Receive $35,000 from Premier Community Bank & FHLB of Chicago

Seven area organizations will each benefit with a check for $5,000 thanks to the FHLBank of Chicago Targeted Impact Fund and matched funds provided by Premier Community Bank. The  Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s  Targeted Impact Fund provides members with grants to support relief efforts for populations hardest-hit by COVID-19 as well as to promote equity and opportunity for communities of color.

The following organizations will each receive $5,000: Foundations for Living, Waupaca; Winneconne Area Assistance  Center,  Winneconne; SAM25, Shawano; Aging  & Disability Resource Center-Wolf River Region-Home Delivered Meals Program, Shawano County; Elderly Nutrition Program-Home Delivered Meals, Waupaca County; Senior Center-Friends of the Adult Activity Center, Pulaski; Wolf River Habitat for Humanity, Shawano.

Program Description: The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s (FHLBank Chicago) Targeted Impact Fund provides members with grants to support relief efforts for populations hardest-hit by COVID-19 as well as to promote equity and opportunity for communities of color.
