Meyer Retires from Premier Insurance Services

| Posted in Bank News

Bill Meyer is retiring from the insurance business after serving local clients for the past 27 years. Meyer joined Premier Insurance Services in April 2016 and his last day will be Sept. 4, 2020.

Originally from Birnamwood, Meyer has lived and worked in the Shawano area for the past 15 years. He appreciates the relationships he’s gained over the years.

“I think I’m going to miss working with people the most,” said Meyer. “Everyone has been so good to me and the team at Premier has been helpful at every turn.”

Meyer is looking forward to some rest and relaxation in retirement.

“I’m excited to spend more time with my family and my dogs,” he said. “I’m looking forward to doing more hunting and fishing. It will be nice to have the freedom of not having to get up and go to work every day.”

Vicki Riska, Manager of Premier Insurance Services, said Meyer’s presence will be missed.

“Bill has been an important part of our success over the past few years,” said Riska. “His connection to the local community has served him well throughout his career and we’re glad to have had him on our team. We will miss him, and we wish him all the best in his retirement.”
